Dbol as a US voter what do you think about Sarah Palin for Vice-President, and Weedy as a foreign observer of US politics do you have an opinion about her?

Personally, I’m energized by her being on the GOP ticket and think she represents ‘real’ Americans better than most politicians I’ve seen recently. I think she’s going to rip Biden a new one when they debate. She’s a breath of fresh air.

Palin is great, and literally is a very sexy pick (not in that way...yet in that way..but it shouldn't be taken that way..yet it could..you get the point).

She will do well in the debates with her charisma and knowledge. Hopefully she brushes up on national security, but to be honest its Johns strong point so i think they will be ok.
I am excited for people to see the Liberal Loons explain tax increases, job loss, universal health care (Yes Euros and Cannucks your health care system blows...yes it sucks in the worst way...Put it this way..i want to go to the Doc for a prostate exam, i call up and go the next day. You on the other hand call up and get in line and then die while waiting 8 months for a checkup...but they keep telling me its free (for some) and well managed...keep it!), same sex marriage, liberal judges, retreating on a war that we are winning (which he voted against funding and supporting and STILL wont say that its been a success) among other things.

Plus as always like i have stated and i somewhat feel like an ass for posting this but women, minorities (yes you african americans) and the youth will not vote.
Like i have posted in the past, and as many analyst allude to every 4 years. "They are like the bride that says yes and leaves you at the alter". I cant wait to see it happen again while MSNBC, CNN and other networks that have terrible ratings compared to the one true and MOST WATCHED channel, FOX, sift through the "woulda, shoulda and coulda" theme that we Right Wingers are all to accustomed to.

Weedy, I agree with you. We used to be the best birthday forum in the universe until we let DOA’s derisive and envious scorn get to us. Let’s bring back the great BoS B-Day greeting traditions and strike a blow for freedom! Otherwise the terrorists win! BTW- mine’s in 5 days, don’t forget.

Dbol, I think Palin’s a breath of fresh air in American politics.

Love her views, or hate them, she’s more like most real Americans than any politician I’ve seen lately. I disagree with her and most Republicans about abortion and gay rights because I’m pro-choice and I have gay friends with functional families that include children and grandchildren, but I’m with her and McCain about everything else right down the line.

I’ll vote McCain/Palin for the security of my country and the world, our economies, and for the betterment of conditions and equipment for the allied militaries fighting terrorism around the world. My oldest son Chris recently joined the US Navy for an 8 year hitch, so I’ve a vested interest in that last reason.

IMO America’s ready for a black President, or a female one, but not Obama this year.

Sorry Hollywood, but Dbol’s right; the young and the minorities will follow form and not vote. They’ll say they will, but they won’t.
